In March of 2022 we introduced the latest state of the art technology for joint replacement as the first hospital in Indiana to utilize the Robotic Assisted Depuy Velys Robotic Total Knee Replacement. The addition and incorporation of robotics in medicine and specifically orthopedic joint replacement has been growing immensely for the last decade. Dr. Huang was the first surgeon in the state of Indiana to use the Velys Robot for total knee replacement. Additionally, we offer Velys Computer Navigated total hip replacement as well. The benefits of robotics in joint replacement include more precision and accuracy in performing these operations as well as less pain and a faster recovery due to a less invasive operation.
